How to Make Butterfly Pea Flower Syrup
Creating your own Butterfly Pea Flower Syrup is surprisingly easy, and it allows you to infuse its mesmerizing color into your cocktails. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Ingredients:
- ½ cup dried Butterfly Pea Flowers
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Instructions:
Add water, sugar and butterfly pea flowers to a saucepan and bring to medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves then simmer for 5-10 minutes. The longer the flowers steep the deeper the color will be. Allow to cool then strain out the flowers. You can store this syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
